Hellboy

Has anyone else seen this film. I thought that everything about it was mediocre, the characters, the story, the action everything. Thoughts?

The story was annoying to follow, confusing and the location was constantly changing. This made the movie feel like a rollercoaster ride of mediocrity.

The action was average too. No blood pretty much limited the special effects. The scenes were short, but quite interesting to watch.

And as for the characters, most were boring and had no personality.

Yeah, antlion's right. It's a pretty generic action film with a bad-ass protagonist, a sexy female assitant, some gruesome monsters and a band of Nazi occultists. *yawns*

I can see ten/eleven-year old wrestling nuts loving every second of Hellboy, but... The Dark Knight is the shining example of how to pull off a comic book movie. =P

Hellboy is ranked (can't remember the site) as the 13th best comic book based film.

Anyone see the sequel? I liked the first one, but I thought the sequel did a really good job of taking it up a notch... especially effects-wise.

If your talking about the second one then yes. I've seen the first one and the second one in the same day. They both rock and have some cool jaw droppin parts in them.

The First one and the Second are both perfected.
