The only reason we haven't created a topic for this is because we talk non-stop about it at school (as in, the staff of OTS). But, what a phenomenal movie. =D

God knows what Christopher Nolan will do with the sequel...

too true, I cant see how he could possibly top this one escpecially with Heath Ledger reprising his role as the joker. I've heard all sorts of rumours about the next one.. Some good and some bad but I suppose only time will tell...

Definitly one of the best movies of 2008. Im suprised the film is not up for any oscar nominations.

Usually I do not like Batman movies because they are unrealistic and way too much action, so the story falls apart. But this one was really good, I even bought the Dvd.

Ha, same. I recall reading an "official statement" from Nolan which revealed Johnny Depp would appear as The Riddler in the sequel. =S

Oh, and Heath Ledger did pick up a post-humous Oscar for Best Supporting Actor - well deserved, and I wholeheartedly believe he would've got it even if he was still alive. I'm sad Nolan didn't get Best Director. He totally earned it.

It was suprising that it didn't receive much praise, maybe they just forgot about it; it didn't even receive many nominations
