Princess Mononoke (1997) is one of the greatest animated films ever. It follows the story of Ashitaka as he journeys to find a cure for his fatal wound that he received during a fight with a rampaging demon, who had been torn by hatred. During his travels, Ashitaka saves two men and returns them to their home in Iron Town. He soon discovers that the people there have destroyed large areas of the forest so that they can produce iron. The wolf girl san, hates the people of iron town and Ashitaka realises that he is the only one who can stop the war between the creatures of the forest and the people of iron town.

| So did the copy I borrowed off of George. =P I am kind of tempted to buy the Japanese version (w/ English subs, o' course), simply because the western art is too generic. Japanese (OMG it's the Joker!) Western | |
