A few friends and I play this alot. Since I can't get COD5 to work on my pc because my graphics card is crap.

Played it on Xbox 360. Blown away by the intense realism, but otherwise it just struck me as another FPS. I think it would be worth a purchase though (well, if I could play it...).

youre gonna need 2GB ram and probably NVIDIA GeForce GTX 295.
but it seems you are not an extreme gamer so you will need Intel Chipset GMA 30**

No, its not. Most PC games only need a minimum of 500MB-1GB and a maximum of 1GB-2GB (Crysis, for example)
